PT. Mustika Minanusa Aurora (PT. MMA) is one of the leading shrimp processing company in Indonesia. It was established in 1995 and managed by Dachan Greatwall group since 1998. The two companies became partner in 2008 through Joint Venture.
Over the past 20 years, we have been successfully chained up our shrimp hatchery, shrimp farmer, suppliers and our professional team members. Through this vertical integration, we could guarantee food safety standard in each stage of production to deliver the best quality of shrimp to our customers.
Today, we have around 2500 skilled workers that is ready to process wider range of product followed by the two extended new plants which are PT. Misaja Mitra – Pati, which specialized in producing finest breaded shrimp, and PT. Misaja Mitra – Kota Baru which offer various of sea-caught shrimp freshly caught from Sulawesi sea. PT. Misaja Mitra – Pati is located at Pati, Central Java, Indonesia, and PT. Misaja Mitra – Kota Baru is located at Pulau Laut, South Kalimantan, Indonesia.

In 2008, PT. MMA expanded its business to shrimp hatchery, located in Amal Beach, Tarakan, North Kalimantan. Our Hatchery aims to produce high quality and chemical/antibiotics free shrimp fry. This helps the farmers to be able to produce high quality shrimps.
There are 8 harvests cycle per year and we are able to produce 20 million pieces of shrimp lava per cycle.
For shrimp larva food supply, we have our own phyto planton cultivation to guarantee the availability of food throughout the process
In additions, we only use superior broodstock, which are free from viruses and fully filled with matured eggs.
There are two types of aquaculture, which are traditional and intensive aquaculture. In traditional aquaculture, shrimp's food are supplied naturally from the pond itself, as a result of photosynthesis process. All of our shrimps are from traditional ponds.
Shrimps are harvested from pond using simple traditional methods. Net catcher mounted on pond's water gate that let the water flown out of the pond utilizing tidal currents.
Beside shrimp, traditional pond also produce additional product such as crab and fish.
These ponds are located not far from our factory, which allow us to get fresh product every day.
